Day seven of the competition will award four gold medals. The women's triple jump finals will take place as well as the women's javelin and 200m and the men will take to the track for the 200m finals, also. Yulimar Rojas has the opportunity to win her fourth straight world title in the women's triple jump on Friday. She did not finish at the top of the leaderboard in qualifying, but to bet against her winning would simply not put the odds in your favor.
Kelsey-Lee Barber is another athlete to keep an eye on for repeat titles. Barber will be pursuing her third world title in the women's javelin. Although she did not perform her best in qualifying, any fan of track and field knows that it just takes one race, one jump, one throw to be crowned champion.
Tune in Friday afternoon to watch the excitement around some of the women's field events build as the finals come to a close.
